Our Community Initiatives

As part of the Baltona Shipchandlers Sp. z o.o. ESG Strategy, we actively engage in initiatives that support local communities, environmental protection and social development. We cooperate with non-governmental organisations, local authorities and residents to support projects aligned with our values and sustainable development goals. Below, we present selected initiatives undertaken by our company.

Earth Day 2026

As part of implementing its ESG Strategy, Baltona Shipchandlers Sp. z o.o. actively participates in initiatives supporting environmental protection and the development of local communities. One of the company’s first initiatives in 2026 was the participation of its employees in Earth Day activities.

On 25 April 2026, Baltona Shipchandlers employees took part in a clean-up initiative in green areas of Świnoujście, Poland. The initiative aimed not only to improve the condition of the local environment but also to promote environmentally responsible behaviour and raise ecological awareness.

Our collective efforts demonstrated that responsibility for the environment begins with everyday choices and small actions which, when undertaken together, can bring tangible benefits to local residents and the natural environment.

Participation in this initiative forms part of the implementation of the Baltona Shipchandlers ESG Strategy in its social and environmental areas. Through employee involvement and cooperation with the local community, the company supports initiatives that contribute to improving public spaces and protecting natural resources.

Children’s Day Celebration 2026

Baltona Shipchandlers Sp. z o.o. actively supports social initiatives aimed at residents of the regions in which it operates. One such initiative was the company’s participation in the event “Odlotowy Dzień Dziecka 2026” (Children’s Day Celebration 2026), organised by the City of Świnoujście and the Cała Naprzód Association.

As part of its involvement in the project, Baltona Shipchandlers provided organisational and logistical support by supplying products necessary for the event and involving employees in transportation and the preparation of activity areas for participants.

The initiative aimed to create an environment that encouraged local community integration, active participation by children and the development of positive relationships between residents, community organisations and local businesses.

The event attracted numerous participants and provided an opportunity for shared entertainment, educational activities and the promotion of family participation. Taking part in projects of this kind is an important element of our company’s ESG activities in the social area.

We would like to thank the organisers for inviting us to cooperate and everyone involved in preparing the event. We are pleased to have contributed to creating a memorable day for the youngest residents of Świnoujście.
